Do you want your child to receive a good education? Jamestown Elementary School is a great school. Jamestown Elementary School is a phenomenal school because we have numerous fun activities, pleasant people, and the students receive an excellent education.
To begin with, there are various activities for the students to enjoy in school. The science experiments at Jamestown Elementary School are entertaining. Making drizzling, chocolaty s’mores in solar cookers is just one of the many neat things we do. We have made small windmills to show wind energy. The Discovery Room is a place where we can do experiments like making gooey gak. There are small animals and expensive equipment to use in this room. Field trips are really exciting and informative. One example of a field trip is going to Drake’s Oil Well Museum. There are many extracurricular activities for students such as a music club, art club, the environmental club, Camp Kids, and many sporting teams.
Another example of why Jamestown Elementary School is a great place is that the people are really friendly. The individuals at our school help each other throughout the day. Les and the cafeteria ladies are kind and very helpful to everyone. Our school nurse, Mrs. Livingston, helps us heal each and every day. Mrs. Simunich, our secretary, keeps us in touch with programs and organizes our school. Mrs. Reiser, our principal, teaches us to behave to be kind to others. Great people like Mrs. Hutton, Mrs. Philbrick, and Mrs. Wells always lend an extra hand to all who need them. We also have extra help from Mr. Brian, Mr. Mike, and Mrs. Richter. We have many spectacular teachers in our school. They are nice and do not yell. Entertaining us, the teachers make us laugh and learn at the same time. Our teachers are fair because they give us a warning before they give us a mark. The students are happy to be in school and always work hard for their teachers. All of the students are always thoughtful to everyone, especially new students.
Also, the students of our school receive a tremendous education. We do really well on the PSSA. Reaching high scores, we are at the top of the PSSA every year. Working hard and taking our time, the students always try to do their best. After school programs like homework clinic and tutoring help students understand what they are trying to learn. Our school has nice, expensive equipment such as smartboards, computers, and televisions.
